Wilson Shieh Ka-ho: Home

Introduction

Wilson Shieh is a Hong Kong artist whose works span across different medium. He graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees of Fine Arts. Shieh is well-known of his utlization of Chinese fine-brush (gongbi) painting technique. Pop-culture symbols of Hong Kong also frequently appeared in his works.

In the M+ Collection, Shieh's works includes a series of the The Cultural Life of Wilson Shieh (2010), and the architecture series which depict the buildings in Central on the Hong Kong Island into different groups of dressed-up female figures.
